It's Beginning to look alot like...

Hello Everyone!!! :):):)  I'm sure by now most of you have your Christmas decor up :):):) & It was beginning to look alot like Christmas here well, at least until I decided I didn't love the theme I was going with... I tried to think outside of the box this year & do more traditional colors of Christmas since I just adore anyone else's decor that follows that motive but I just couldn't make myself love it in my own home so I took every thing down (luckily I only had 1 tree up before I vetoed it) & needless to say I will be back at Hobby Lobby tomorrow since they aren't open on Sunday's :( & back to the drawing board... I plan to use some of the decor I had from last year but add to it :) Since, I'm posting I thought I'd show you what I had going on... I am sad it didn't turn out the way I hoped though :(:(:(

Since, I love animal print I thought it would be really cute to do red & green with leopard Christmas decor... I thought it would be really fun & whimsy :):):) I had everything you can imagine to make this all happen, too.  I feel like I have decorator's regret... It prob didn't help that I had to switch my tree's around since I got new furniture this summer so that was already a big change that I wasn't thrilled with :(  Well, anyways as I'm posting this I'm looking at the picture thinking gosh what is wrong with me that really is too cute... So, who knows what I will do but I will be back soon with the results... wish me luck.  Until next time, Stacey xoxo

Happy Thanksgiving!!! :)

 

 

I hope everyone had a fabulous day!!! :) I've been busy preparing & cooking for the past 2 days... & I must say all my hard work paid off because our thanksgiving dinner was one of the best yet :):):)  I made turkey & all the trimmings but I have to say my favorite recipe I made this year was my pumpkin cheesecake... It was SO good- I might have to share the recipe :)  I've had a pretty good day even with all the work ;) I even got to do some Black Friday shopping this evening & I got what I set out for which was a BIG plus :)  Well, now that Thanksgiving is over it is now on to "The most Wonderful time of the year".  I finally decided on my theme for this year's decor & I LOVE it so much that I just might keep it & add to it for a few years... I can't wait to get started- now that Thanksgiving has came it's fair game around here :):):) I will have a certain someone busy around here putting lights up & etc.  Well, I better close for now since I have to work tomorrow :( But, hey someones gotta help pay for all the holiday decorations I've been bust buying ;) LOL.  Until next time xoxo, Stacey 

Fall Entry Table

Hello!!! Hope you guys are all having a great weekend :)... mine hasn't been too bad even though I did work today :( But, as soon as I got off I headed to Micheal's & Hobby Lobby & started buying some Christmas decor :):):) Today's post is all about my fall entry table... I don't exactly have a foyer but I did manage to work me in a entry/console table... I just adore this table set- I got it at Lowe's on clearance for like $50.00 including the lamps like 2 years ago & it has served me well :):):)  It is the first thing you see when you enter my front/formal room & I LOVE it!!! This year I decided to use a metal candle holder that I had & I used some fall leave garland & fall picks & worked them into it securing it with ties... I used some brown candles that I had but I also have been using some pumpkin spice jar candles that I actually burn to give it a pretty ambiance & I put a couple pumpkins on each end to sprawl it out even more.  Well here it is... :):):)

 

I think it turned out pretty good :):):) Can you believe Thanksgiving is a just in a few days??? Time sure does fly by... I just love this time of year when the holidays start... I've already been listening to christmas music for like 2 weeks already & have started watching christmas movies :):):) Well that's all for now.  Until next time...xoxo Stacey
