Animal Print & Fleur De Lis= 2 of my favorite things:):):)

Hello Dolls :):):) I know I said my next post would be to tell more about my actual home but, I went shopping & just couldn't wait to show off all the goodies I got this past weekend at Hobby Lobby, all their clearance stuff was 80% off!!! So, I really couldn't help myself & went really "wild" esp. since alot of they stuff I had been drooling over for months was included in the sale.  I even kept going back to the store (maybe 3-4 times) to buy more :):):) Remember, how I said I loved animal print & fleur de lis??? Well the proof is in the pudding (lol)...Ok, so enough with the talk I'll show you the goods...

I really am in love with all these pretties & aren't the roo's just too cute???... They will look so presh perched up somewhere in my kitchen... The rest of the pretties will go in our den/tv/family room (whatever you want to call it) to decorate our built-in wall bookshelf/entertainment unit that houses our his fancy tv.  In case you are wondering how it all will turn out I'll be doing another post soon to show you how I arranged it all... Until next time xoxo

It's FRIDAY!!!:)

TGIF Dolls!!! :)  Today I am linking up with Leslie @blondeambitionblog.com for her weekly confessional so here it goes...

1.  I'm totally obsessed with this old/new show you may of heard of called Dallas... It hasn't been on that long but it already has enough scandal to have me start SLOWLY getting over desperate housewives ending & ABC cancelling GCB.

2.  Speaking of shows I must confess that I have been stealing HBO (sort of)... Well, actually more like borrowing Jeff's sisters password to watch HBO go so that I can watch Trueblood... we don't have HBO & I'm having a hard time convincing him to let me add it just for one show...

3. I recently declared that I will NEVER ever cook again on a Friday night!!! We'll see how this goes...lol

4. I just recently realized that I have really bad road rage in the mornings... So, bad that I've actually had to stop & pray to be forgiven for the HORRIBLE things I had just said...  Now, I'm not cutting people off & stuff like that but if words & bad language could kill I'd be spending the rest of my life in jail... pray for me y'all...lol

Have a good weekend & thanks for stopping by:):):) Until next time...

Spicy Oven Potato Wedges

Hey, Dolls!!! :)

I thought today I would follow suite along with some of the other blogs I follow & do a recipe post.  I chose to post this recipe because I just made them & it is very quick & easy which we all love, right???  I know these are nothing new to some but to other's they could be life changing (ok, not really) lol.. I my self decided to make these up one time once when I had went to the store & forgot to get a bag a frozen fries & I was to lazy to go back so, I decided to work with what I had & I've been making them ever since:)  Not only are they more healthy for you but they are much cheaper to make i.e where I live it cost close to $4 bucks for a bag of frozen name brand fries, but also that $4 bucks will buy you a 10lb bag of potatoes!!! You do the math, so for the $4 bucks I would normally spend on a bag of frozen fries I can buy real potatoes & make a healthy version & plus have potatoes to stretch for other meals...  total score in my book!!! I have slowly learned over the years that it is usually 90% cheaper to make your own if & when possible, & that's what I try to do as much as possible, although I do get lazy sometimes... I wear myself out being so fabulous all the time...lol    Now, onto the recipe...

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees

Wash & slice your potatoes into wedges  (use as many or few as you think you need)

Put potatoes on foiled cookie sheet (for easy clean up)

Then lightly drizzle a lil bit of whatever oil you have on hand (olive oil or vegetable oil is what I tend to use)

Then lightly sprinkle with seasonings... I usually use seasoned salt, black pepper, & paprika, but you can season with whatever you want or have

Then bake for 30-40 minutes depending on your oven  & then ENJOY!!! :)

These are one of my fave go-to sides & I know these may take a lil bit more work than just buying the frozen ones, but it is totally worth the savings alone.  Well, that's it for this time...But, stay tuned tuned for my next post which will be all about my actual home (manufactured home, modular home, trailer or whatever you want to call it) I thought it would be good for you to know a lil bit about it since alot of people seem to have many misconceptions about them.  Until next time...xoxo

Guest Bedroom... The Before

Hello, Dolls :):):) Sorry, I know it's been a minute since my last post & that my blog seems to be off to a slow start but, I promise it is going to get better if you just hang with me ;)  I kinda started my blog at a hectic time. I'm actually in the process of re-decorating a few of my rooms which is fun but it can also be a lil overwhelming with selling/buying furniture & etc. along with everything else that life wants to throw at you... But, that also means I will have some "Before & Afters" to show you as I go :):):)

So, here is my first official "Before" post... It is our guest bedroom & to be honest it really isn't my finest decor work because I never really got around to finishing/tweaking it like I normally would... I kinda got side-tracked working my magic on the other rooms & doing only god knows what else ;)  As I said before I have a serious thing for animal/safari print so, for this room I chose a "Tropical Palm Tree" theme which I thought complimented my other decor & plus I really love the bedding... So, let's get down to business!!! :)

I hope you enjoyed checking out our guest room:) :)... & I plan to have the "After" ready to post in the next week or two.  So, please stop back by to see the new changes... I'm really excited about it & can't wait to show them... Until next time xoxo
